background

We met on a sailing boat in France (merci coco & alain) during the summer of 2016. Quickly after we developed our love for cycling & adventures together. Our first bike-tours were on shitty/rusty bicycles, sleeping in an old tent and carrying backpacks on our back (for more than 50-60 kilometers a day!) Throughout the years we started to invest in better equipment and do longer tours (more kilometers and several days). Our latest tour was a cycling trip through Germany, Switzerland and France in the summer of 2021. Below you can find a summary of our cycle-touring experiences, each of them contributed to making the decision to leave on this ~1.5 year EU-tour. (As we did not live at one place together for the past 6 years, we used to be in different locations/countries and used/owned several bikes, can you guess how many? 🙂 )
